The 4th industrial revolution is often associated with humanity's visions of a bright future, but we still face deep-seated problems related to our impact on the earth's environment. The Anthropocene is a geological era marked by human activities such as industrialization, deforestation, and burning fossil fuels, leading to rising temperatures, declining biodiversity, and atmospheric changes. As we transition from the Anthropocene to the next industrial revolution, we need to rethink our relationship with the atmosphere.
The atmosphere is a shared space, free of geopolitical boundaries, with potential for artistic, scientific, and ecological purposes. We need to focus on the atmosphere as a platform for expression, research, and action, rather than just a site for pollution and exploitation. This transition requires a new approach to technology that prioritizes environmental sustainability over domination. By working together across borders, we can create a stable and sustainable future for the planet and its inhabitants.
